WHAT YOU’RE PRACTICING

Five orders. Five useful habits.

Start with the first mission or choose a situation you want to rehearse. Your receipt is the place to check your work.

  1. Takeaway: one gimbap and one dumpling portion. Notice 포장 before confirming.
  2. Mild + cheese: open the options on tteokbokki. Read the difference between an extra and a separate dish.
  3. For two: two noodle portions and one dumpling portion. Check the quantities and the ₩12,000 ceiling.
  4. Fix the basket: remove the wrong item. Adding the correct food does not remove a mistake.
  5. On your own: choose two non-spicy dishes without extras and finish under ₩9,000.

Before you practice

Will this place a real order?

No. The menu and restaurant are fictional, and the confirmation makes no payment. No card details are requested.

Do I need to know Korean first?

No. Instructions are in English, with Korean where you would see it on a menu. Use the guides to learn a few useful words as you go.

Can I use these prices and recipes on my trip?

Use the current restaurant menu for actual prices and ingredients. Our examples teach a decision process, and mild does not mean spice-free or allergen-free.

What if I make a mistake?
